Parent coaching for raising a neurodivergent teen

You know your teen is bright. You also know something isn’t clicking — homework battles, shutdowns, friendships that don’t stick, a college deadline looming over all of it. Parent guidance sessions give you a clear picture of what’s actually going on in your teen’s brain, and practical ways to support them without becoming the enemy.

I bring two perspectives to these sessions: 14+ years of coaching and teaching neurodivergent teens, and my own lived experience as a neurodivergent adult who was once that teen. Based in New York City, with remote sessions available nationwide.

What we work on

  • Understanding your teen’s ADHD, autism, or executive function profile — what’s hard, and why
  • Reducing daily conflict — homework, mornings, screens, and chores without the standoff
  • Motivation and shutdowns — what’s actually behind them and what helps
  • The transition to college — readiness, independence, and what to build before move-in day
  • Talking with your teen about their neurodivergence in a way that lands

How it works

After a free consultation, parent guidance sessions are $175 each. When it makes sense to work both sides, the parent + teen package ($400) combines a parent session, a teen coaching session, and a joint wrap-up — full details on the services page.

The resources library also has free articles written for parents — on homework battles, motivation, self-advocacy, and more.
